Reviewing covers for The Missing Diary: Crime Scene Kosovo Book 1
I'm working with the project design team on the cover for The Missing Diary. I shared some preliminary designs, and they sent me two options. Apparently, there are a thousand books a day published, so the cover is really important to catch reader's attention.
Which one do you like best?
Cover One
This is broody and atmospheric.
Cover 2
This is more eye-catching and still has the gritty Pristina skyline in subtly visible.
I mentioned that it's important that the figure on the front should have auburn hair, like the main character.
Once this is settled, I'm going to ask them to do a box set cover and audiobook cover. Eventually there will be three or more books in the series and I have to plan ahead.
